Which one do I need?
VACON 100 INDUSTRIAL or VACON 100 FLOW?
Both use the same hardware and cover the same power range. INDUSTRIAL is the general-purpose version for conveyors, mixers, extruders and other machines. FLOW adds functions for pumps and fans – multi-pump control, PID with sleep mode, pipe fill and anti-blocking.
Wall-mounted or enclosed drive?
The wall-mounted drives go from 0.55 kW to 800 kW in IP00, IP21 and IP54. Enclosed drives start at 75 kW and come built into a cabinet with mains switch, fuses and the chosen options, ready to connect.
When is VACON 100 X the right choice?
When the drive has to sit next to the motor or outdoors: VACON 100 X has an IP66 / Type 4X enclosure and works from -40 °C to +60 °C.
How do I find the right part?
Send us the type code from the nameplate. VACON 100 codes start with VACON0100, for example VACON0100-3L-0261-5+SCB4: 3L = three-phase input, 0261 = rated current 261 A, 5 = 380–500 V mains. The letters after "+" are the options.
